The Indian Stock Markets traded choppy throughout the week and remained inconsistent. Overall it was a negative session for the market which drag it more than 2% losses. Both the benchmark indices and all sectoral indices closed in the red and the stats are following:
- The Sensex was down 2.2%, and
- Nifty was also down 2.2%,
- The CNX Midcap index was down 1.7% , while
- BSE Smallcap index was down 2.7% ,
- BSE IT down 3.1%,
- BSE Auto down 3.1%,
- BSE FMCG down 6.5% , and
- BSE Realty down 3.5% over the week.
